| Did you plant early in 2018? That was a home run year for April beans around here. 2016 and 2017 were pretty good too. 2019 and 2020 had cool wet May’s so early didn’t shine as much. If you’re uncomfortable, don’t do it. But I feel I gives you a shot at 10-15 extra bushels some years. And years when it doesn’t pay, they’re just as good or slightly better than the later beans so no real downside (my experience) | |
