My deck is about 30 plus years old and some are rotten. I was going to have a new deck this year but lumber price are darn too high. I’ll wait. I add a beam under the deck to support the middle joists. All the joists are rotted. Some rails are loose. I have to tell some people when they are over not to lean over the rail!
