| We recieved some (perhaps .75inch 'here') moisture today, fairly big region got some. My guess has some downward pressure on hard red spring wheat (my spreads are already showing this). I don't know how this affects Chicago Wheat (I don't understand chicago wheat). Definately not a drought buster, but sure beats a kick in the pants.
Not a lot of canola went in 'around here', to my knowledge, as it was just too dry to plant a that shallow of a crop. I suppose if any did go in it has enough to sprout now, so could be bearish canola, but I don't think so, just my opinion but it is going to be in short supply come fall. Good luck to us all.
P.S. How did North Dakota and Canadian guys fair with this weather system? | |
