Makes perfect sense. The volume of water on that first swale is very high, tons of constant water, my plan was to use a trench but in one section put in 12-15” culvert pipe so i could drive over it.
I do like the Hickenbottom idea for some of the other lesser running swales though. I appreciate you mentioning that bc i didn’t know it existed.
