You will probably get more front tire wear than normal because (I think I read somewhere) the front wheels are typically geared at a slightly higher speed than the rears.
I believe the MFWD clutch is typically a spring apply, hydraulic release mechanism. So the control failure mode is to have the MFWD engaged full time. I would spend a minute inspecting wiring and connections to the coil on the valve.
It may not steer as well cornering in a sharp turn on pavement, so some caution is advised. | |
