None of that makes any sense to me. A power beyond kit is to run additional valves, not to fix 'return" issues. A power beyond does need to flow back to the tank like already stated. That part will be permanent, it will not need something plugged in (and running?) all the time. Get a better explanation from whoever told you this, or get a different guy.
