WCIN | Hey guys, I had to pull the Radiator, ac condenser/hyd cooler out of my 4440 to do some other work. While its apart I was planning on sending both to a good radiator shop to clean them up. I got to thinking, I know ill have to vacuum the ac system before I refill with gas since its been opened. When the radiator shop boils it out or whatever it is he does to clean the inside, will there be excessive contamination entering the system when I hook it back up? I guess my question is do I need to replace the receiver drier also?? Does it even matter? the condenser has been sitting in the shop all winter, just don't want to cause more ac issues down the road. Thanks! | |
