if it is steel and you drive in iowa there is rust somewhere working in the dark. there is no way you can rustproof a steel vehicle when stupid iowadot sprays salt water on the highway on a nice day just to make sure you get some.


They love to do that around here, too. Salt is bad for vehicles, but the liquid crap they "pretreat" the Interstates with is worse yet. Thankfully, they haven't started using the liquid stuff on any secondary roads,YET.

If folks would just use some common sense, Pa could cut their salt use in half, easy. Probably could be cut in a quarter to be honest.

Dumb, Dumb is all I'm going to say.

Thankfully, we live in an area that doesn't get anywhere near the snow events that places like Pittsburgh, Pa or Northeast Ohio do. I feel for those folks.
