| Have a 445A backhoe with loader that has intermittent power steering problems. If the tractor is driving with no weight in the bucket, power steering works fine, feels like it should. If you load the loader bucket, it acts like there is no power steering, and I would almost say you are fighting fluid pressure to get the wheels to turn. Once you dump the bucket, it's seems to revert back to normal. All tie rods and linkages are good, this seems like a hydraulic problem. Could the steering cylinders be leaking internally and fighting the operator while loaded down? This happens while you are just operating the tractor, not operating the loader hydraulics at the same time. Thanks. | |
