NW IA | I've always bought red wing work boots and gotten along very well with them. The last pair I bought the stitching on the side came loose when the boots had a lot of life left in them. I chalked it up to a bad pair. So I bought a new pair and in less then a year same thing. I sent them back to red wing for repair and that only lasted a few months and they all came loose again. Contacted company again and they basically told me I don't take care of them to bad. I've always gotten at least 5 years out of a pair but getting less then a year on $175 pair of boots is unacceptable. I'm trying something different. Quality is everything to me and red wing has lost that! | |
