There was a little bit of trial and error with the clamp design.
The Brillion clamp used ( 1 ) 3/8" bolt to clamp on center with the connecting link, I used ( 2 ) 7/16" bolts on each side of the link.
The Brillion clamp bolt would actually hit on the connecting link and had the potential to break the clamp bolt in the perfect conditions.
That is why I moved the bolts to the side and added an extra clamp bolt.
This moved the bolts out of the way and more than doubled the clamping force.
When it was all said and done, I would say I was about half the price of the Brillion clamp.
