NCND
I must be pretty close to you. We planted 165 for a long time now we are down in the 150 range with 10” spacing. My script guys tell us to plant lower. We’ll probably end up with 100k given not all them will end up in moisture.

Have a friend just south of me that swears by 110k.

The only crop I have much hope for avg yield right now is soybeans since they need rain much later than everything else. If it doesn’t rain by Memorial Day most wheat is going to be poor at best. Most canola probably won’t germinate that’s seeded now assuming no one is burying it.

I’m contemplating doing some beans today but temps are nothing great. I know everyone loves early beans but I’ve grown them for 19 years now and my ten best field avg’s were seeded between May 20-25 looking back. That said we’ll stick a few in I’m sure but it’ll be done in a very casual manner. My wife is due May 27th so I’ve got to plan around that more than anything....eventually.
