Subject: Flow meter intermittently reading high?

NE Nebraska
Raven RFM 15 flow meter for my starter fertilizer randomly reads high. I have watched it stop the pump, pressure drops and slowly builds back up as it reads correctly. Only lasts for about a second each time. Target rate of 3 gpa and will read 6,8,11 and have seen as high as 64gpa before it drops to a near 0 and builds back up. I have ran manually and rate on screen reads high but pressure doesn’t fluctuate, my pump and controller are fine.

If the sensor on the flow meter shorts, would it read high? Do they fail? I’ve had the turbine lock and read low before but never high. Can I swap just the external sensor and wire with another rfm 15 meter even though they have different cal numbers, 1750 and 3xxx something?

Any other ideas?

Thanks
