Geneva, Ohio | This probably has been discussed on this forum before but I have not found it. I currently own a 3600 and a 1990 and both are great implements. I planted soybeans with the 3600 for the past 15 years using brush meters with very good success! Three years ago I bought a late model 1990ccs mainly for planting wheat but a secondary planter for soybeans. I like the simplicity of the 1990 and especially the row unit and it definitely has a following. I've installed Bonilla seed tabs and drill cruisers. I just wonder if I'm giving up any yield with the 1990 vs the 3600? It's all conventional tillage or vt planting both into.. | |
