pic 1 shows a 60" solar corridor from 2020 with a thick volunteer stand of pennycress (right before mowing)
pic 2 shows "Progas" hybrid rye (left) next to "Gardner" open pollinated rye (right)
pics 3&4 show Survivor winter pea w/ Gardner rye
pics 5-7 show KY Pride crimson clover w/ Gardner rye
pics 2-7 show rye that we plan to plant to no-till soybeans within the next few weeks
pics 8-13 oat/pea mixes (either 25% peas/75% oats or 50% peas/50% oats, separate rows)... middle 2 rows of each plot were planted to oats as guidance for combine operator... last 3 pics show oat/pea mixes w/hubam sweet clover
pic 14 shows canola on 30" rows
pics 15-17 show 60" rows of Survivor winter peas in plots that had 60" corn in 2020 and will have 60" corn in 2021. Corn will be planted over winter pea rows (hopefully within the next 2 weeks)
pic 18 shows oats planted the first week of March
pic 19 shows early planted oats frost seeded w/ mixed forage legumes (Nitro alfalfa, berseem clover and sweet clover)
pic 20&21 shows sunn hemp drilled into oats last week
