When I do vrt rx for someone who has been seeding flat rate with a 2630, often the memory needs to be cleared by a jd technician. I was told that when a monitor is first connected to a planter it learns shaft rpm ranges for the first 10 minutes. So after we clear the memory we vary travel speeds and seed rates up and down multiple times to learn maximum shift rpm ranges. Target rate and applied rate should read and adjust to match the proper rate in less than a second.
