southern MN | Cool damp day today, got 1/3 inch of slow cold rain. Think it got in low 50s. Didn’t feel it.
Furnace kicked on now. 42 outside.
Forcast is 34 degrees as the clouds will clear out. My peat bog fields will get lower than that.
Drove by the stuff planted 25 days ago to the west of me, at 60mph didn’t seem anything. Been a lot of cold nights the past 3 weeks.
This could get interesting yet. I’m a little slower planting than others, but my ground can stay colder too, started on the 1st.
Oats looks nice, planted Easter time. Big money crop, ha.
