Subject: RE: Brazil corn production

S Illinois
USDA’s last estimate and that 95MMT would be total Brazil productions. First crop is around 25MMt and they do have 3rd crop of a couple MMT. So that 75MMt safrina number would make total production 101-102MMT.

Old crop is where the trading volume is currently, but new crop prices and US new crop exports would be the biggest beneficiary due to a shortened Brazil corn export season late this summer.

Edit: Many of the low end estimates have another 10 MMT in jeapordy of the safrina crop or around 90 total as the worst case scenario. Look for high new crop US exports in next weeks WASDE.
