Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | I purchased a used STS10 late last year and have not even tried it with a water test yet. It appears that the output from my pump leads to a control valve for the agitation. This valve has an indicator on top which is visible from the cab. I can change the position of the valve with a manual rocker switch. I assume this means that I will adjust the amount of agitation by visually noting the position of the indicator. I don't believe there is any automatic arrangement on this sprayer.
I don't believe I have any type of pressure gauge in the agitation line. Unless there is one and I haven't noticed it. It would not be hard to add one. Is this something I should do or will "eyeballing" the indicator work well enough?
Once we test with water we should attempt to observe the agitator system to determine if it might be plugged and what results we see with the control valve in various positions.
Any other advice with the Hagie? |
