They screw into 3/4 fitting but have about a 3/8 orifice. Take band off of lid then it's 16 inch hole. If your agitation valve is opening and closing properly it has to be plugged. If you take agitation line off with stuff in tank they should leak backwards. Those black agitators get brittle so remove carefully.
