One neighbor always said “somebody put it together, why can’t I, It’s just nuts and bolts” that’s stuck with me. I like to make a plan before I start then just take it apart piece by piece, keeps me from getting overwhelmed.

Latest thing that’s a first for me is putting a seal kit in a hydraulic gear motor for the planter fan. Case drain seals having thrust plates are way different then I thought they would be, but after looking at it for a few minutes I can see how it’s built the way it is.

I think it’s experience amd a drive to do it.
If your not interested your probably not going to learn.

Same problem with the racial thing.
I was raised in a way that you seeked out what you need to know and just in case you might need to know.

If a person is a life long mechanic. That means he’s been at it and made mistakes. I agree some can’t tie there shoe’s.

Basically people don’t understand that there’s a lot of experience at one given point that someone is using.
Doesn’t mean it’s right. But it does matter.

If most of you fellas knew all the programs for ethnic groups. You would probably throw up.

Dosent make any sense but it does if you don’t understand the basics.

Like Looking though Gov documents you learn the word “modification” and other key words real quick.

Grandpa always told me”it’s how you slice it”.
Not talking in a bad way.
How it’s done.

Deep thoughts
But it’s biblical and ancient beliefs.
You can call yourself what ever. Welder/car salesman etc..
True test is in the knowledge or the action.
You can kind of fib and get by to a point but it will show.
some do things the way they believe not systematic.

But over time you become skilled and that skill comes from experience.
Those skills are marketable.

I’m putting Jack Handy to shame.
Hopefully RJ junior gets to read this someday.
