| People say I'm a genius and can fix/build anything, I tell them I just not afraid to try. Granted I do have a very good mechanical/electrical aptitude and a ton of experience with a large range of engine powered and industrial equipment. I've been fortunate to learn from some very smart people that weren't afraid to try, fail, learn, and overcome. My generation(I'm 35) for the most part can't do jack, not b/c of lack of ability or lack of information but b/c they have been raised not to try and to be afraid of failing. I get calls from my friends almost daily asking for advice/help, I always push them to get outside their comfort zone and try, some do and some just want to be spoon fed. | |
