South cental Ohio | I'll probably get flamed for my opinion on this matter but I gave up balancing blades a long time ago. I've never had a hub or bearings fail from out of balance or any other reason for that matter ( just lucky I guess). I'm sure it may be "better" to have them balanced but I have never felt any difference or had any problems when they aren't balanced. As for straightening the blade, I use a hammer and an anvil .... if you have any iron working skills... works better than trying the press and is a lot safer. | |
