Michigan | So the wife and I enjoy camping but I HATE how poorly built campers are. So we have always just used my old enclosed gooseneck trailer as a camper and built the inside out yourself. Well we bought a new trailer that is shorter and a foot taller so we have more space above our heads when sleeping in the gooseneck area. Pulled the trailer last weekend and couldn’t believe the MPG I’m getting compared to the last trailer. New one is 2k lighter than old trailer. Anyone ever use a wing on top of the truck to help mpg when pulling a camper or enclosed trailer?? How did it work and is it worth the investment. We drive out west every year and I’d hate to see the dash read 10.8 mpg at 73mph like it did last weekend.
Not sure why the pic is turned...
