Put a hand winch (come-a-long) on one side of the cultivator hitch to the frame to take out any sway, use an infrared thermometer to check wheel bearings after a handful of miles, map out a quiet route, and tow it on a Sunday morning.

Yep. While I don’t have a temp unit. Touching the tire, center of hub.... check tongue weight. If it’s light, you need weight. I pulled a 30’ JD 1000, and a JD 1010 27’ behind 3/4 ton 6.9 diesel. @30 mph. The Jack, tools, few blocks... in truck was plenty.
