Central ND | We decided to pull the trigger and sell 3 more loads. Pastures have some old grass but not looking promising for much new grass and anything without a well won’t have water. Now able to run the cows at almost 50% normal stocking rate, hopefully that helps. None of this is part of the plan but I guess I’m just going to roll with the punches. But hey I would never have kept the corn in the bin this long if I wasn’t going to use it to finish calves so I’m telling myself the cattle helped me pick up a $1.65/bushel. Good luck out there forecasts are trending for Montana to start getting moisture. | |
