Planting date doesn’t mean much to me, It’s all about soil conditions including the weather that first 24-48 hours the seed is in the ground.
I don't think the video was very clear. What I was trying to get across is that when emergence begins you want most of the seedlings to emerge in 24 to 48 hours to get a uniform stand. Sorry about that. What I am seeing so far this year is that areas with dry soil conditions are having uneven emergence which will potentially hurt yield.
