South Georgia | After some internet research, mostly old AgTalk posts, I came up with a very simple solution that I thought was worth sharing. I made a cable to connect the radar speed output on my FmX to the 2-pin Metripack radar speed connector located in my console fuse panel. I configured the FmX radar speed output to ouput 59.9 Hz/MPH. Now the tractor recognizes the GPS speed from the FmX as radar speed, and makes this available to my planter monitor/controller. I also now have an accurate calculated wheel slip. | |
