how far to drainage ditch? I would look into a 36 inch smooth wall tied directly to the culvert.. Then at field level a water intake for your side of field . Water intake should be large enough to provide relief for the 36 in. that one huge storm that will take out the 24inch.

Most likely have to run all this by the road department..

A 36 inch below the culvert with your concrete funnel probably still work.. just so over flow is lower than culvert.

reason for bigger is some day the road guys are going to install a bigger pipe.
