For the grass I think many flowers and plants with withstand clethodim.  You'll have to do your own research on that though.  Probably not much out there beyond a preemerge for broadleaves though.  I normally use preen on the flower beds and then the wife has to pull the weeds.  She's got a pretty thick stand of perennials now though that not many weeds get through.
