| 1k head setup. Maybe done for good, idk. I don't get any sweatheart deal and rely on hedging the cattle and selling into the cash market. I haven't done any grid or other programs and maybe that has been my downfall. Tired of having to be nuts on with marketing or I'm losing money when row crops I can probably sell probably at least half the days of the year and still make a decent profit. I usually have in my mind (and banker's) a decent game plan and every year three or four things work against me that either i didn't see coming or have no control over. | |
