Chebanse, IL..... | The actual Memphis Belle B17 sat rotting away in Tennessee for years. It was finally obtained by the Air Force Museum in Dayton OH a few years ago & underwent total & extensive restoration. These guys don't just slap a coat of paint on them and display them....they are rebuilt like new, but not flown.
You can now proudly view the real Memphis Belle at the AFM in Dayton OH.
