Subject: Dealers tractor has metal in oil , what happens?


Oregon		Hi, looked at a tractor at local dealer. Grabbed a oil sample from the motor. Lots of non ferrous metals in oil. Also has soot and probably way to many hours on it.
Told dealer, his reply was they will change it run on dyno and sample again.
I cant imagine they can sell it this way.

I'd be interested in it if they would maybe pay of new motor and then I install.

How does this play out?

15 yrs old, says 3,000 hrs but idk
