NW Iowa | Boy does that bring back memories. I was planting with a 51 John Deere A with my 6 or 7 year old son sitting on the seat between my legs. I let him steer for a complete pass across the field, giving him encouragement to turn a little left or right. Those were the “crookedest” rows on the farm by far but both of us were proud of those rows. That was the first tractor I drove when I was about that age and it is the first tractor my grandson drove when he was 8 or so years old. Your family is much safer inside the cab though. | |
