Got out 13 years ago. Was a good move for me. The deck is stacked against all of us. Calved and fed cattle for over 35 years and never once did the packer buyer ever ask if I made any money. Didn’t matter either if corn was $2 or $5. His job was to buy as cheap as he could and that was when there were more than 4 packers in the whole country USA owned. Good luck to all. Some probably won’t succeed. It’s all about the cheap food policy of our leaders.
