My costs main living costs and a lot of my fixed costs don’t go up much with higher numbers of cattle. So yes the do go up some but my overhead costs per cow on 100 head operation don’t look nearly as good as when they are spread out over say 1,000.
Dairy mentality. Spread those costs over 10,000 cows and the numbers look even better.
Current cattle biz? Quit or stay?
