sw ontario
things are nuts , I am with tmrand, not much we can do.

Hogs with panademic, plant closing April 23 ,2020 brought $128.09 average on 150 hogs

April 23, 2021 brought $270.47 average -all CDN $$ - both loads averaged 280# live

Feed costs per pig today F-F $165.00

Corn last yr. < $5 -now close to $9 beans-2020 -$11.50 now $19.50

And they say there is no inflation??? Myself I think it is best to just try and capture some $$$ now, don't buy un needed stuff and wait it out .

Not sustainable on input or selling side and 25 miles east of me were the 'good' farmland is Chatham (maybe 40,000 pop.) houses in 1 yr. have increased 58%.... I am stupid but something bad is coming
