Is that vinyl 'plank' flooring John?
Have laid some of that for a daughter, snapped together easy and looks good after 3 or 4 years now.

The vinyl we laid was in a roll, maybe 6' wide.
Had to lay it with a small overlap and then cut through the 2 layers to have a matching joint.
Put glue on subfloor except for a 6-8 inch strip where joint was the carefully pulled back the edges and put special glue down that strip.
Then had to roll it all down well with a heavy steel roller.
Was a bit time consuming but we had to learn how to do it and my wife who helped was pregnant at the time.

Have laid hardwood floor in addition maybe 30 years ago and it has not lasted as well as the vinyl.
