Subject: RE: Covid case/deaths post vaccination information/must read

Saginaw Bay Area - Michigan
A lot of anecdotal information, have to remember that correlation is not causation as they say.

I tend to think the trends are unrelated to shots, just coincidental timing. But..

They have reported those that were fully vax'd (both shots, more than 2 weeks) and showed there were "break through" cases that still got sick. That was a relatively low number. Not sure if they are fully reporting the positive cases that are only partially vax'd (ie only one shot). The theory is a person is more susceptible during that phase before 14 days after shot 2. Just a theory though.

I would like to think the media would be all over any reports of infected people that were partially or even fully vax'd. That would be lots of "fear porn". Would not fit the narrative of "safe and effective" but seems like they would report on that "oh my gosh, it's worse than ever" rather than buckle to Gov and only report positive vax related news.

All just speculation either way at this point.

Look at MI. Touting the downward trend as Gov "decisive action" as the cause. That decisive action was to require masks on 2-4 year olds, the super spreaders that toddlers are....

As for the OP's link with graphs showing islands that are having increases that are associated with vax rollouts. Still looks like seasonal trends at this point. Certainly something to keep an eye on.
