Texas | Very neat. Thanks for posting that. What’s peculiar is that it now lists the filming location as Mansfield. The very first source that I ever read, which mentioned the film, was a reprint from the 1960’s. It mentioned Whitney, TX (or areas outside there around the lake) and Rio Vista, TX as the filming sites. Then sometime later I read that Grand Prarie was another. The mention of Mansfield is the first time I’ve seen that as a location for the movie.
If I wasn’t so far away right now I’d dig through my old papers and find a pic of Johnny when he was in the area for the filming of that movie. That may be the source that mentioned the other movie which apparently didn’t get released. Still can’t recall if Johnny was in that movie or not.
Yeah I remember seeing Johnny’s brother on episodes of Laramie with Robert Fuller and John Smith.
