| In my experience, the guilty party drags its feet. A similar situation I had was with a popular tv-advertised company (few years ago). Some companies are very quick, but the advertised cheap ones are not bc they try to get out of paying. They "lost" the police report multiple times. My ins agent tried to get us to file under our insurance, then when they paid up, could take it off our ins. We refused to put it on our ins at all since it wasn't our fault. It may be difficult to wait it out though.

2) Be persistent. Stay on them and you will get it worked out!! May take longer than it should. | |
