How long until insurance adjuster makes contact after a claim?  Seems strange to me that my wife was in an accident not of her fault last Friday  She was rear ended.  Filed a claim Monday morning and here it's Friday again and no contact.  I've called the agent a few times and he's called the company but still haven't gotten a response.  Car is more than likely totaled.  Just seems odd that a whole work weeks went by and not even a hello, I'll be handling your case from either insurance co.  Last time that the wife had the same sort of accident in the same place they were on the phone with her the next day.  Is there a shortage of adjusters since covid or is this a normal wait?  I was planning on going with our insurance this time as we went 3rd party last time and it ended up being a drug out fiasco from them wanting the car fixed to then finally totaling it months later.
