I had figured out what you were saying........although I hadn't looked up the pricing to see exactly how much you'd be out money wise. I still say that about the worst thing that could happen is say the price moves down somewhere between $6 and $6.50. Then your sold put will be exercised but the other puts you bought won't be worth much.........Along with your brokerage fee that you're out.

All in all though I don't mind the way your looking at it. It may be smarter than just speculating by holding your cash corn and having your stomach turn on the hard down days.
