Maybe alot of the asymptomatic cases just had viral trash in their nose and the PCR test amplified it and identified them as sick and our leadership said that means your sick and need to go into hiding..... However, maybe they never were sick (or asymptomatic) and thus are still susceptible. This happened on a scale of tens of millions.
