Morris, Mb.
Not sure about what to do, but I would not be surprised to see the alfalfa come back if it had a good root system. On our alfalfa seed fields, we hit them with a pro till set at 6” every spring. We turn the field black to get rid of the residue and disease. About 10 days later the field is greening up nice and you can see the rows (we do alfalfa fields on 18” or 27” rows depending on the variety and seed at 3/4 lb an acre).
