New London, Wisconsin | Start with your insurance company as they cover what was lost. Do of course tell them what happened about the grinding from the contractor. Those two insurance carriers will sort it out in something called subrogation. Your issue is to be made whole by the coverage you have. Then your insurance company will pursue a claim against the contractors insurance carrier. You will have nothing to do with that.
