Click on that and you can select the time you thought the post existed.  There is a custom range setting so you can set a period of time you believe the post was made.

Regarding the turkey, that will bring up all posts in which the word turkey was said.  You could put in capital AND to make it look for posts that had turkey and whatever other word you wanted to connect the two, feed for example.
