NE Iowa | I have a 6048 that I have run for 11 or 12 years and never been shut down until about a month ago. We had to do that a I am recovering from surgery. We run it all year long as we heat our water in the summer time with it. No expense in all those years except for the dope you put in the water to maintain the quality needed. I believe they quit making that model a few years ago. I understand the models now need really dry high quality wood for their fuel or you have problems. I want no part of a furnace like that as I like to be able to burn any type of wood available. | |
