Subject: Implement on FMX is going through the field at an angle.

Hey there

When I turn around at the headland and come back, my sprayer on the FMX display doesn't track behind my tractor. Instead it goes down the field at a weird angle. The picture shows what I mean. After 1/4 mile, the sprayer finally lines up with the tractor and it logs correctly.

For years this happens every now and then. I used to just ignore it, but I just got Field IQ with boom control so I kinda have to get this stuff right.

I see my FMX firmware is out of date. It can't be that simple can it? I would try that, but I'm afraid of screwing something up a week before spraying and planting. I'm only a novice at this GPS stuff.

Thanks for the help.

Trimble FMX Firmware 7.0.70784 with RTK
EZ Pilot version 1.02
Field IQ
John Deere 7810
Summers pull type sprayer 90'
