Its a Nichols and Shepherd Red River Special. Considering its been on this farm longer than I have you'd think I'd know more about it. Belonged to my grandfather way back. I don't know when it was last used but would guess early 1940s maybe. Its just a piece of family history I like to have on display now. Its in rough shape if anybody ever wanted to put it back in service. I've got another one, a Huber, saved on the farm across the highway that was my grandfather's on my mother's side. |
